Privacy policy
Last updated 16 October 2026.
Hieu Tran Keyword Research ("the tool") is a private, read-only script run by its owner, Hieu Tran. This policy explains what Google user data it accesses and what happens to it.
Data accessed
- Google account: the tool signs in with Google OAuth to the owner's own Google account, with the Google Ads API scope (
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords). - Google Ads data: keyword planning metrics for search phrases the owner supplies: average monthly searches, monthly search counts, competition and top-of-page bid ranges. It reads no campaign, ad, billing or customer data.
- Credentials: the OAuth client details and refresh token are stored in a private file on the owner's computer, outside any code repository.
How the data is used
The metrics are saved as files on the owner's computer and used only to estimate demand for product ideas and to plan the owner's own ad campaigns. The tool does not use the data for advertising to anyone, does not build user profiles, and does not use it to train AI or machine-learning models.
Sharing
The data is not sold, rented or transferred to anyone. It is not shared with third parties, except where the law requires it.
Other people's data
The tool is used only by its owner. It connects no other Google accounts and collects no personal data from visitors to this website. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
Retention and deletion
Results are kept as long as they are useful for the owner's research. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, after which the stored refresh token no longer works and is deleted.
Google API Services User Data Policy
The tool's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
